Well here it is the 2008 season of football is upon us. With the college teams now in full swing the NFL starting their season this Thursday and for the most part all fantasy leagues are set. Let the football hysteria begin! I see that NFL.com has figured out two new angles to appeal to the fantasy players in all of us. So let’s take a look at these new and free by the way fantasy games for those of us that don’t have the time or patients to fully immerse ourselves in the fantasy leagues.
The first of the new games is akin to beat the streak fantasy game that they have at MLB. This NFL version is called NFL touchdown challenge. Of course to play this game just like all other fantasy games you need to register for free. Once registered you will need to select one player from the pool of running back, tight ends or receivers. The trick of course is to pick a player each week that you feel will score a touchdown and each week that your pick scores gives you one fantasy point. Now Obviously you will want to get 17 points by the end. Make sure you pay attention to when your teams are playing as apparently they will still list players even if their team is in a bye week, you will get a 0 if you happen to make that bone headed move. The grand prize for this contest is 3 day 2 night stay and VIP experience in the 2009 Hall of Fame game. Not too shabby of a prize.
The second new fantasy game is the one you want to win if you are any kind of football fan as the grand prize is a 5 day 4 night VIP Superbowl experience for two with special access to Superbowl events, prizes, transportation and of course tickets to the game. I wonder if they would give you money instead, says it’s an estimated prize of $39,000 dollars( could pay for my gas next year! just kidding, i hope i am kidding!YIKES!) Any way how do you play this game well this one goes like this, this time you get to pick 3 players one quarterback one running back and one wide receiver or tight end. Again you can only pick each player one time during the season so choose wisely. The object is to pick the players that will get the most yards during the week as each yard that your 3 player make is another fantasy point in your fantasy bank. The person with the most obviously gets the Superbowl trip.
Those are the new games basically there are some bonus tips to earn extra points you will have to read more there to see what those are so go check them out and sign up, you never know you could win a trip or some of the other prizes they have available and it’s FREE to play!

Pretty nice input! Have you checked out Gameday Ritual ?. It’s amazing fantasy football. I’ve tried a lot of Fantasy Football sites and this one is the best so far.
